インドのDream Trust理事長のSharad Pendsey先生より、国際糖尿病支援基金を通じてご支援している Pooja Prakash Tarachchandさん（1型糖尿病）の近況を知らせる手紙が送られてきました。大変悲しいお知らせですが、4か月前に彼女が敗血症のため逝去いたしました。

あなた様にご支援を賜っていた1型糖尿病患者プージャ・タラチャンドが逝去いたしました。
4か月以上連絡がなかったため、健康状態が気になり電話をしてみたところ、彼女の親戚の方が出られて彼女が亡くなったと応えました。
3か月前高熱を出し、2日後に嘔吐が始まり呼吸困難となり、近所の病院に運ばれましたが、8日後、敗血症を起こし、帰らぬ人となったとのことです。

I am sorry to inform you about sad demise of Pooja Tarachand, a Type 1 Diabetic patient sponsored by you.
As she did not report in the clinic for more than 4 months, we enquired about her health telephonically.
We were told by the relatives that three months ago, she had high grade fever and two days later she started vomiting and had difficulty in breathing.
Hence she was taken to district hospital where she succumbed after 8 days.
She died of Septicemia.
